Surge Tank installation questions
Just trying to dot my T's and cross my I's before I start. If this truly is rocket surgery just tell me and I'll go right at it. I did a search but really only saw "after" pics, and not a lot of discussion about the process.
1) Are the bolts Torque To Yield or anything special? If not, anyone have the tq. specs anyway? I tend to overtorque the snot out of things so I'd like to be nice to my baby.
2) Would you change the gaskets or just maybe lay a bead of silicone on the existing ones? Naturally I want to do this tonight since my paint is dry, but if the majority of you guys went the safe route with fresh gaskets, I'll order them up and put this on hold.
But MAN.. I soooooo want to get them in!
Any input is appreciated gang.
Thanks!

its super easy... i must have taken mine on and off a dozen times by now lol. As far as tightening them, I've always did them by feel and I've never had any issue. And as the other members mentioned as long as they look good and not beat or any rips on them you are good to re-use them. Just make sure you align the holes and not catch the gasket

Awesome fellas. I can't wait to get off work and do this. Then with my stock set, I guess I'll git the powdercoater and do something crazy.
