cleaner for headliner material?
I took the ugly airbag warning stickers off the sun visors. The passenger sticker left some residual goo on the material and I would love to know what would be best to clean the material without causing any staining or damage. Would a suede brush be something to try? Thanks.

Thanks...I had the goo-gone but was afraid to try it due to the orange solvent and the possibility of staining.

Alcantara is a man made material and is hopefully much easier to clean than suede. I am surprsied that the goo gone didn't create a stain though. I sure wish MB chose charcoal or black for the liner or at lease gave us the choice.

I was worried about staining as well. I used the goo gone pretty sparingly. I tried the leather cleaner first but it didn't do anything. I was also worried about that citrus smell in my car. In the end, there were no adverse affects. I used lexol's leather cleaner after the goo gone. Obviously the alcantara will darken slightly when it gets wet, but it dries right out and you can't tell there was a sticker there at all.
Would have been much nicer if MB used a more fabric freindly glue on the sticker though.
