And to think that I was concerned about the accuracy of putting a personalized plate on my E55 that said...493 hp.....instead of 469 hp. I just have a concern about accuracy, but thats just me.

Whatever cranks your tractor. If thats what you want to do, go for it. As for me, not intrested in impressin anyone cept myself. I want to know I got the real thing, especially when I pull along side a wanabe I have Vette that will smoke any stock Z06, but it isn't badged as a Z06 cause it ain't, but it does act the part. THE MOTHER of all badge jobs....
Last night, I saw a 300E W124 sedan (1986-1989 - didn't have the silver body cladding the 1990+ got).
The rear of the car was badged:
E420 /////AMG
Had a cheap looking trunk wing, PLUS....the best part:
He had stuck V8 kompressor badges on the front quarters.

Anyways, I asked the Mercedes salesman and he said the E55 AMG has 476HP...
