Hello everyone my name is Aleks and I am so excited to be a part of this forum and modify my car, so much knowledge here! A huge thanks to you all.
Now on to the car, I have wanted a Flint E55 since I saw one in 2008 but I was only 18. Now that I am a little older and wiser (hopefully) and able to reward myself with one I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 2006 with 61k miles. Posted in the classifieds about 2 weeks ago. The shipping from TN to CA seemed like forever!! But now that it's here, some wheels and lowering were a must!
Here are some pics, let me know what you guys think.
I used the 3m Headlight restoration Kit (2 of them actually) takes forever!! If you rush through it then you get decent results but I started with 400 grit, 500, 800, 1000, 1500, then 3000. Compound then polish. Took about 3 hours.
I always recommend people to check out the MBworld classifieds. Sometime some decent deals are to be found.
BTW - what are you doing with the original wheels?
Agreed, some of the cleanest and most well taken care of cars trade here on the forums from one enthusiast to the next!
The 18s that came off the car are actually reps and one rear is cracked and they can use a refinish. Something cool about them though is the low offset 25, and 28. So it looks pretty aggressive on the w211. I was just going to list them on CL for $300 but if any of you guys can use them let me know, you get first dibs!
Thanks! I come to Sacramento area pretty often. If you guys have any meets or car events going on let me know!

Thank you everyone for the kind words!! I really appreciate it! I have been on this forum before but in the w208 and w209 sections and no where near as much love. You guys are awesome!!
I will post some good camera pics soon, the cell phone pics do not do the new set up justice!
Also looking for a E63 front and lip spoiler for the trunk.... for now
Very nice - congrats! Make sure you stay cool though and keep that car under covered parking - Fresno, like the rest of central valley, is an oven nowadays!
