Lowering Link Question
Lowering Link Question
I have some lowering links on my 03 E55, they look really puny and weak, I took a 200 mile trip and one side loosened up and lowered my car. Should I upgrade or go to factory and try to find someone to lower with STAR?

You can make it look how you like with star. Clean way to do it. I had links on my CL500 and now on my E55. We have done several customer cars with the Star and now I am jealous and will junk the links and go with Star lowering soon. There is DIY sticky here on the forum you can show to your Star equipped tech.

What's the max you can lower with star.. I know it's not close to what you can with links...
Have you ever checked the links from Air-ride? They are about 325$ shipped but The quality is top notch

I went with the links from Air-Ride and it was the right way to go. The ride height adjustment switch in the console brings the car back up to the stock ride height for speed bumps and curbs. Looks and handles awesome!!
Adjusting Links
How are you guys getting your front end to sit even on both sides?
Also are you adjusting the links when the car is in the raised position (red light on button by shifter) or when the car is lowered?
