buying a higher milage e55
I am currently looking around for cars and stumbled across an 04 e55 with 120 miles the person selling it wants 13k for it. I am skeptical about buying a car with this high of milage as it will be my daily atleast for a couple of years and I will trade it in. The person who owns it now is a mechanic and has replaced the entire air suspension (new bags and compressor), new wheels, all maintenence up to date and done meticulously , has added a chiller and new SC pully and bearings and many other things what do you guys think should I pass on it or does it sound pretty solid

get a PPI done
I have a 04 E55 with 125,000 miles. Drives like new. I wouldn't be scared of it but would have a third party with experience check it completely. Make sure they have a factory type SDS so they can print any faults in car. Can use it as a negotiating tool. Expect to pay @ $200 for a thorough check.

if it's been said once, it's been said 1000 times. Get a pre-purchase inspection at a dealer or trusted indie before you make a move. Might cost you $1-200, but it will save you thousands.

I was planning on having it inspected for sure wouldn't solely go on a strangers word, I was more or less wondering if there were going to be any other big problem areas I may have to look forward to with the age of the car , I also only commute about 5 miles to work a day
