Pulling slightly to the right is normal for the E55. Take it from an Old Timer, we looked into this about 7 or 8 years ago on this forum. Everyone was complaining about the cars pulling to the right while the Alignment was dead on. We ended up finding out that it was a safety aspect built into the car incase people dosed, lost control of the wheel, etc. Bottom line......the cars are designed to pull slightly to the right.

Pulling right shouldn't be accepted as good in a 211 even if its common. In the early days of the 211 Michelin pilot sport a/s would cause a horrible pull. I've done 100's if not 1000's of MB alignments and I've never had one (except bent cars or cars with bad/non approved tires) that with adjustments (in spec) and road forcing tires, wouldn't go straight.

This is exactly what all three alignment shops told me. Basically if I hold the wheel straight, the car goes straight. It's not an alignment issue they said. Alignment would cause drift even if the wheel was straight forcing a counter correction (i.e. hold the wheel left to go straight).
But that actually seems MORE dangerous to me. I'm guaranteed to hit something if I drift right. If I stay straight I very well may nod-awake before I hit something.
I still haven't gone to a more traditional computerized shop but may do that next week. I dont know if I want them making it pull left to counteract the (if true) designed right pull.

Straight is Great
My car drives straight as an arrow. It is aligned properly, tires are not excessively inflated and I am riding on 20" Vossens. 9.9 front 10.5 rear. No offense to all who accept pulls and drifts as normal, but if my car pulled or even drifted with my hands off the wheel, I would rather park my car than drive it like that until a solution was achieved. I can't imagine telling my customer to accept a drift or pull, I don't care what kind of car it is. I sincerely doubt you could get a factory tech rep from MBNA to tell you face to face it is normal. Have faith, you CAN have a straight arrow too. Just have to find the right guy to take it to.
