For Sale: Space Saver Spare Tire Kit - New (Never Used)
Hi all,
Up for grabs, for those with an 03-04 (missing a spare) or anyone else for that matter is my brand new (never used) space saver spare tire kit. The 05 and 06 models came with a spare due to numerous complaints from AMG customers about the lack of a spare tire in such an expensive car during 03 and 04. This spare has never been touched, i think this was the first time its been out of the trunk. I called up a few dealers here and was told these kits go for around $800. Not sure of the price in the US. I saw a post from while back of the stealers wanting $700 in US. First time the tyre has felt asphalt in these photos. Its actually a nice looking rim.
Kit comes with:
-Rim + Tyre (as per photos)
-Electric Air Compressor + Pressure Gauge Kit
-5 x Lug nuts (They are shorter) These are the special lugs for use with the spare tire only.
-Bottle of Tyre Weld spray (sealant).
-The casing, foam and hardware which supports the tire in the trunk.
Asking $600 AUS dollars OBO Shipped. Around $550USD
PM any Interest. - Paypal Preferred.
Im guessing shipping from AUS is going to cost a bit to the U.S, but ive decided to include it at that price. Id say it will cost around $200 - $250 to ship. If buying from Aus/Melbourne ill drop the price as i do not need to cover the majority of expensive shipping costs.
Reason for selling is that i am getting a BIP trunk tank soon, so will have no use for this and figured someone who goes on long trips will.

I wonder if it'll work in the wagon with the third row option. I just got a ouch flat in a pothole last week. Had to wait for a flatbed. Luckily I was inside phoenix city limits. But our funky trunk is all weird compared to the sedans.
