You forgot option 3.

Used car with extended aftermarket warranty. That's what I did. Best of both worlds.

$80k will pay for a lot of mods and service work, especially if you DIY or use a good indy shop!

Sort of like those who think getting a tax refund from the IRS is a good idea too right?

Letting someone else use your money for a couple of years and then getting it back with less purchasing power does not sound ideal. How does this benefit anyone other than the finance company executing the lease?

8k will take off roughly 200$ a month off a payment and then you get that 8k back, who saved? The leasee did

And I'd make you both cry with $80k and a Fox Body Mustang!

Arguments like these are stupid & pointless. Something will almost always be able to be done cheaper and made faster than buying a new car.

for 100K there are a lot of other cars I'd be looking at instead. If it was actually 60-70K it would be different. 100K they wont sell any of these things. Why would any one get that for 100K when for 60K you can get a new CTS-V ?

This is why I am glad the previous owner shelled out for Kleemann K4

Totally agree. If they price them at 100k A LOT of people won't even look in that direction. You could get a 2015 z06 for around there, cts-v ect.... If they price it at or around 70k I bet they won't be able to keep any of them on the lot, specially if the make it AWD. A year old one and your looking at mid 40s I bet.

It'll be a very potent car if it gets GT-R engine. Mod friendly and super fast, especially on a drag strip.

Now being 100k plus it might not sell that well but it'll do good if they go ***** up- like they did on LFA and make an example out of this. Just to show they got the ability and technology to do so.

This will get everyone's attention.

The Eau Rouge is supposed to be limited production, with some sites saying a possible short lived run, or a cap on the number per year build.

I think it's impressive, especially if it will be able to match the GT-R for $$$ spent for performance gains. From what I've read though, it's not going to have the same gearbox the GT-R has, but one more suited for a sedan, meaning a reduction in engine TQ, so it won't quite have the same performance the GT-R has.

I think it will sell well if it can match the performance of a GT-R though. The GT-R is a monster that really wakes up with mods, and if this is really a 4-door GT-R, -V, M, RS, and AMG may have a new contender to worry about.

I actually like the GT-R and so far, the look of this Infiniti Q50. I'm happy that American, Japanese and German manufacturers are putting out cars like these. Charging the Japanese offerings as soulless make me wonder if the individual has bothered to sit in, drive or listen to any Porsche (outside of the Carrera GT) in the last 15 years.

I personally am hard pressed to see the point in paying $70K when I can get the power levels, gadgetry (that I care about anyway) and comfort I want for a lot less, maintenance and the occasional repair included.

Its supposed to have the same engine but it is going to be RWD. Not to mention it will be a lot heavier than a GTR so there is no way it will have the same kind of performance.

Thanks for sharing.

Although , maybe this is a prototype that's why but I feel like the interior

resembles some of their existing products. Now if this is indeed going to

pushing north of 60k price then I would expect it a bit different to attract certain

class of buyers.

Being a Nissan fan( look at my username) you couldn't have said it better. It will be a slightly detuned 4 door GT-R with some modern amenities...a AMG is a AMG...always gonna be a badass car!

For 100k, there are lot more attractive options than the Infiniti... And I love Infiniti don't get me wrong I have one now and owned four.

Thank you. I don't care what year of Mercedes Benz I'm driving- It's still a Mercedes Benz, not a glorified Maxima. Freaking stupid conversation- There are Honda Civics that run in the 10s all day, all over the Southern California illegal street race scene. It's not just about HP.

For $100K there are some pretty amazing options that are simply classier and cooler than that abomination. There's actually a low-mile SLS here in San Diego for 120K right now. You get the idea...

Hell, the new hellcat will outrun my e63s from a roll but I'm the one in the Benz, lol. Enjoy yur Nissan and yur dodge guys!

As someone smart on this forum put perfectly... If you can't tell the difference in drive experience between the Infiniti, dodge or Benz, then get the dodge and save yur cash.
