That seems to sum up this thread. I don't understand why so many people are getting so angry at something that doesn't matter. I see BS on forums day after day, but I generally pass on the opportunity to beat people down. To each their own I guess.
That's the last post I'll have in this thread, so don't waste your time explaining or flaming me. Happy racing to you all.

So SAE corrected levels are in a sense 'theoretical limits' of the car then, and he will have a number on the low end non corrected (if he's in poor conditions) and high end non corrected (if he's in better conditions). So why should he post non corrected numbers when he will be heavily weighed down by his temperatures? Then you want to bag on the guy? LMAO. Just looking at this setup you can tell they are looking to sustain power for a long distance and then BIP explained they're hitting the next mile long drag race. Learned something new thanks guys! Hopefully everyone else reading this thread did too.

Also please check out www.lenscrafters.com, they hold monthly sales on special order spectacles. After you get those please go ahead and refer yourself to post #5 (question asked) and then post #7 (question answered).
Now that we are all on the same page, 200 MPH OR BUST!!!!!!!!

< just noticed this new hammer smilie.
But on a serious note, I still have some other questions about the meth kit and the cars setup. If you run/dyno with a set of conditions better than the Texas heat would you be able to mess with the meth mixture to provide something more 'potent'? Instead of weighing the mixtures towards the 'cooling' side of meth, could you instead use it more of like an 'octane booster'?

You can alter the water/meth mix ratio and then tune for it. The big downside is that if you are tuned for it and during a WOT run your meth tank runs dry or your pump fails... maybe kaboom. For most of us on these cars, it's best to run it for cooling to reclaim that power we would be losing to high IAT.
I was experimenting with my setup. 50/50 meth/water, I was running AFR in the mid to upper 10's. I turned my pump off and AFR was around 11.4, but temps were crazy high. I've been playing around with the mixture, adding a little more water. I want to see what a 75/25 mix will make my AFR do.

The other critical point worth mentioning is the size and placements of the jets / nozzles. I have not played with Meth injection on the MB platform, but have done extensive work with Aquamist on Mitsubishi, Honda, and Porsche platforms. In all of the scenarios we were running a ton of boost and crappy octane (91) and were using the Meth / Water combination to help with temperature and effective octane (raising).
I have generally found 50/50 (Meth / Distilled Water) to be the optimal for cost, power, and safety. I also would HIGHLY caution using Methanol injection unless you have fabulous fail safes in place (e.g. ZT2 setup).

As parents, we teach our kids to stand up for what they feel is right. Not to cross the line with self righteous aggression and to respect others opinion......even if we feel they are wrong. Thank God my children are not on this forum reading my posts.
Most of you know I was wrong. And yet, you still congratulated me. Thank you and sorry for defensive aggression. Yeah, I was wrong. Focusing on the dyno smoothing level, Dallas Performance told me what I wanted to hear. Of Course when I asked the direct question if my dyno is corrected for temp, humidity, ect........they pretty much said "duh". Only time anyone uses uncorrected dynos is when temps are below 75 degrees for higher hp displays. Mental note taken.
So here we are. Since I opened my big mouth and claimed something that is not true, I must provide the uncorrected numbers. Now before I do, please keep in mind a few factors....
1) 101 outside temp
2) 8th dyno run with heat soak for highest number
3) dyno was in a enclosed room.....little ventilation for cool down
4) tuned for 109 not q16
5) 90% water injection for cooling instead higher meth for tuning
6) did I mention it was a hot day?
7) I was hung over
Uncorrected SAE smoothing 5..............575.9 RWHP/598 Torque
Corrected SAE smoothing 5.................602.0 RWHP/626 Torque
Corrected STD smoothing 5.................612.3 RWHP/636 Torque

Hey, O.P. would you happen to know the model number of those filters? I'm wondering if they'd fit on my car. I like the idea of ducting fresh air from under the car, its just too bad you don't have a louvered hood for it to escape creating air flow up and over the filters. The gasket around the engine seems to hold all that heat under the hood, but at least its open on the bottom.

lets see, that's about 750 lbs less than mine, then. hey, do you have one of those big muffler tips on your car also? I say go for it and add neon lights while your at it.

Sleeved motor was installed because I blew a motor after Eurocharged crank pulley and supercharger pulley with 550cc injectors. I have spent less than 8k in performance mods. So you spent less than that with your junkyard dog? I thought Wiestec is near 9K? Grab a calculator, genius. I'll wait.....
no
how can one even respond to this? lol

Jason and Tony @ BIP are freaking awesome. If you don't know them.....you need to.
101 degrees was the temp when we hit 602 rwhp. The techs at Dallas Performance states their dyno is low @25 hp. We were using VP M109. We could of gained more with Q16, but....I'm tired of changing out 02s.
I would like to thank Shardul for showing up. I owe a lot to him. Always there when you need him.

With all the dynos we have made here in the Texas heat, we have seen that the SAE correction factor does not compensate in favor of a supercharged engine very well in extreme heat and humidity. Once you are compressing 80% plus humidity (water) and heat VS good air, the SAE correction does not follow well . Since you goal is for the Texas mile and sharing your results of your dyno (thanks , as many do not) , then your car performed great for those conditions. We noticed our M113K engines put down good numbers when there is not much of a correction being added for or agaisnt and you have good cool and low humidity condions. More clean air to compress and less of the power killing heat.

Hey brother, these are some of the cheapest prices on the interweb. They are considered unique in size and shape. They are flat, yet long. Their tapering allows for a better fit under your hood......
