How big is this hose? $129 is so Mercedes. There's got to be an alternate place to buy. For instance, the TB harness is $133 at my dealer, but able to be bought online for $65.
Toad, if you're seeing temps like that, this fix could be a game changer for the Killer Chiller.

$96.75 no shipping from parts.com for the hose. still not cheap. Should consider taking the old part to tubes and hoses to replace the hose. The end fittings are usually good and you just need the o-rings. I have done this before making custom A/C lines for one of my cars. Only cost me $30 for custom A/C line with me providing the old line and re-using the end fittings.

The dryer by looking at the diagram from Mercedes should be accessible from under the car and removing the plastic covers, on the hose not sure yet.

Yes I used both laser and then traditional analog gauge as I could not believe it was that cold...Now my weather is not that bad (today was high 70s), so I am guessing it would be more like high 40s / low 50s if the weather were in the 90s. (Our weather here in socal along the coast never really gets too hot.)

Just the driver side and center vents (temperature was roughly the same)...I think my AC is fine....funny because our other cars feel a lot colder (but I guess they are not)...

Damn it! I just placed my order for this hose like 30 seconds ago.
I went ahead and ordered an expansion valve, too. It was only $31 on ECS Tuning. Doing the desiccant filter as well. MY a/c should be rocking harder than a Nickelback concert.
Now if I could figure out the blend / door / flap / actuator / motor issue, I'll be good to go. I see these stepper motors on ECS; I just need to make sure what parts need replacing.

Can you guys that are in the middle of this DIY follow up on this thread with results? I was just doing my intercooler the other day and it would have been easier to do with the front end off already.
Soo...are we saying this helps with the super slow times it takes for the car to initially cool? It'll take 10 minutes of highway driving when getting in the car on a 90* day to make it tolerable (and then more time to actually get it 'cold').
On the other hand, if it's cool/night time outside when I get in, it'll freeze a snowman's ***** off in a minute or so....
