went to the drag strip. unfortunately the timing device malfunctioned and i couldnt get times. but for comparison had a run at another E55 amg lightweight (220 kg) that did it in 11.9 and beat it by 3 car lengths. cant be sure though, really a bummer i couldnt get my times. plus the dude was on slicks, and me on semi slicks

Thats higher than stock IIRC. EDIT: Or am i wrong here?
Mine does 0.68 bar at max. according to what comes over the OBD2 Port.
My belt is new, etc.

Is the CL55 AMGs Kompressor any different? I read that the later (06) Kompressors have a higher gearing internal and spin faster. Does this net more Boost?

as far as i know, cls55 and e55 are same exact cars in different bodies.
i actually read that the stock boost is 0.8 bar.
just had a new map written for higher AFR coefficient, should give 11,8 rather than 10,6 i am getitng now. lets see if it surprises me again

FlyinMiata in Grand Junction, Colorado, performs dyno runs on heavily modified 4 and 8-cylinder Miatas. Recommendation from them is 12.5:1 for max power, and the range of 11.5:1 to 11:1 for cooling the intake charge to provide headroom against detonation.

FWIW, I prefer to tune my car to 11.5:1 because I'd rather have a few less horsepower than a blown engine.

YMMV.

And for horsepower junkies, here's the dyno run for "Basil", a 1967 Land Rover. It set a new record on their dynometer!

right, yesterday i went again to the dyno to try out new map. first i dynoed the old map just in case that showed 445rwhp and boy was i surprised. the AFR went down to 9 and the max power we got was 380rwhp. bummer. then we tried the new map, for a second the AFR was fine and the car blew a lot of resedue smoke, but then it went down to 9s annd gave max power of 390 rwhp. ou can imagine my concern.
guys there said that it could be the Lamda sonde, so we unplugged them and got no difference, proving the point that it is that, as with it on and off was no difference.

what do you guys think? i need to come up with something fast as there is a drag race at the end of the month.
