What are your intake air tempatures at!!!
Recently hooked up my scsn tool to my car to see what timing and iat were at. Noticed my iat seemed a lot higher then I remember. They were close to 200f!! and lowest ive seen them go to was around 135f. My question to you guys is, what are your air temps and how can i lower the temp back to what I remember them being at 20 to 30 above ambient? Can it be a iat sensor or a bad pump? Also what are you guys seeing as a normal reading for timing ?
Mods are h.e, johnson cm 30 pump, shorty headers, s.c pulley, intake and exhaust mods and 80mm t.b..
All help is greatly appreciated juat trying to make sure i wont have any issues.

Im gonna swap out tthr pump to test with my stock one but thr weird thing is there is no s.c shut off. Car still feels like it pulls when I get on it. If its not a pump could it be a bad iat sensor? But thanks im going check out the pump and get back to you guys were can I find a bosch pump?

Split the system and change the pump out. Then look into a killer chiller trunk tank and for extra fun add meth. Super cool IATs

Thanks guys im gonna try the pump first and see if that brings the temps down. I've been thinking of doing a split system hopefully that will be my next years mod. Which pump do you guys recommand bosch or meszire. Not sure if i want to get another johnson all though it hasn't givin me any issues in the past maybe a cm90?

Wow yes, even on 100F days here, cruising AITs are "only" 15-20F above ambient. I just have a Bosch 010. No split or H/E upgrade.

At cursing speed? If so, then yes something is wrong and most likely pump. If at WOT, it can get that high and higher depending on your mods.

With my KC on 95* days I can cruise at 80 and my temps range 75-81*. Love the KC and tank.

I have a CM30 and it stopped functioning about a year ago. It was the fuse. The CM30 draws more current than the Bosh. I think it was originally 10 amp and I replaced it with a 15 amp.

Bought the new Bosch pump the supercharger shuts off after 3 runs.
Is it possible that the new pump is defective ? Or it's just the temperature here is very high ... ?
