I was on youtube and came across some m-fest videos and thought to myself that the amg community seems to be an extremely strong community as well. Why don't we have huge meets like this. So my question is if we were to have a HUGE meet once a year, how many people would travel or be interested in this? If this gets a lot of interest, I wouldn't mind sorting everything out and figuring out a date/location for possibly november/december of this year!
Let me know your thoughts/concerns with this guys!

If it's anything like Bimmerfest, I'd be in.

Hell, I've taken my MBs down to Bimmerfest - was an amazing experience, even in an MB.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. If we were to get at least 75 people to be yes, that'd seem like a good amount.

I'm in PA so depending on the meeting place I would entertain it, weather pending of course.
May have to hold an east coast / west coast meet, maybe same day, but obviously geographically different...

why not make it for ALL MB's?? I know Bimmer community has both but for not ahving any meets like that on MB side an all MB meet would be a start ... I just came from owning 3 BMW's and LOVED Bimmerfest and have no clue why there's NOTHING like it in the MB community

It's been talked about, it's just hard to find a good location. our mbworld ontario chapter has talked about it, as our meets usually bring out good numbers. But keep in mind it's a years worth of planning, has to be in a popular area (somewhere you would want to travel too) and be cost effective. Even though I'm from here, Niagara Falls is usually the go to spot, man clubs hold there biggest events here.

I wouldn't mind having other non amg's there, but I think a lot of us would prefer a amg heavy meet. As for location, I was thinking somewhere with great mountain roads that we could possibly cruise as well. We'll have to see how many people have their interest sparked by this

AMG Corp through AMG Private Lounge does this.

I live in No. Calif and went to Laguna Seca Raceway for an AMG event....borderline distance for me. I would not travel to Las Vegas or Los Angeles for one of these.

The Private Lounge event was 100% great. Guessing here but 75-100 AMG cars.

There is a meet every year called Mercedes Madness. Normally about 150-250 MB's come out. I think there was 250 last year. It's in the OC area.

So looks like this may become a reality. Most likely it'll be in the spring, and towards the west. What's everyone's thoughts on this? Also I'm already contacting the majors for some sponsors for the meet as well.

This sounds good. I'd be down for it. I'm also coming from a BMW and haven't seen anything close to Mfest for the MB community. Would love to see a big meet/event for MB owners!

Good idea, although this may have to divided into a few events in different parts of the country??? Some people may not travel more than 500 + - miles?

A year ago I went to Baltimore, when they had the indy cars racing through the city, and I was surprised at how many BMW's were grouped together, as if they had a car meet at the event. I said to myself it would be pretty cool if the MB's could do something similar?

I wouldn't mind going to California/Arizona/Nevada myself which I think is the greatest concentration of AMGs on the west I believe.
