E55 amg sidemarker lamps out. Help

Trying to fix E55 AMG that was in an accident. The side marker lamps do not work. There is 11.40V voltage when the peanut bulbs are out, and when you try to put the peanut bulbs in the voltage drops immediately to 0.01V. The headlight switch is turned to the on position as well while this is happening. Tried to activate through DAS, and nothing happens. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Sounds like a bad ground. As soon as there is a higher amp draw it gets sucked down to nothing and the bulb will not light. They should share a common ground within the system so check that out first.

Did you solve this problem? I have the same issue expect it is only the right hand side bulb (side marker), I have verified that the ground, socket, bulb and switch are all working. What is stopping the power from being fed to the wire for this bulb?
