H2o - Anyone going?
Doesnt seem to be the E55 crowd but anyone going? There? I thought about heading down with a buddy

2008 Mercedes E63 P30
Unsure, me and a buddy may leave this afternoon from Concord, NH. We usually wait last minute to decide. A bunch of my friends are down there, and its already been quite the mess with the police. That being said we are leaning towards not going, but we will see!

Never been... I have several friends down there that say it can't be missed, I have some friends who are there and say its terrible... and have others who dont want to go... with yesterday's wreck, kinda feel its going to be a $h!t show

I know some people that went down there. They said the drive sucked (way too much traffic on the NJT)
They rented a house, so they'll be there the next few days. Supposed to be great weather.

OCPD is apparently over the top, with citations this year. They're popping people with non-stock camber, non-stock exhausts...etc.. basically anything in the law books, they're popping you for. Some of them are impound only tickets...
There's a kid down there who races motorcycles and also owns a small clothing line. His team's owner, owns an F40 and let him take it. In one day, he was pulled over 3 times. I know one of them was for exhaust... got a warning. Not sure about the other times. Other stories have surfaced about over 2500$ in tickets, and impound for various cars. I'd never go... too many kids, doing too many kid's things...

It is a great time, usually go every year. Yeah the F40 has been getting pulled over for exhaust. The wreck yesterday was dumb, guy with a cayman s ripped a uturn and got a little loose on the wet road. Bashed the curb and ripped the steering knuckle right off the suspension...

^^^^ Yeah, heard about that. Didn't a few years ago, a kid rip a U-Turn, and put his Supra in the bottom floor of a motel?
