I am installing the e63 bumper on e55. I have everything ready but cannot figure out how to install the metal brackets that connect the bumper and the fender. do I put the brackets on the bumper or the fender first?

and do I only hook the front part of the bracket then the put the pumper on, then pull the bracket to connect the rear side?

any picture? how to's would be much appreciated. I did search the forum but I could not find anything for this specific issue.
