Need Advice for poor shifting Tranny E63 2007
So, the tranny seems to be acting up and my first thought is it's software related
So the shift from 2nd to 3rd specifically seems to have this "flair" when its shifting.
Right when it goes to shift from 2nd to 3rd, especially on light or moderate throttle, the motor actually gains 400-600 rpm before it shifts, kinda like its really lazy... Its worse in "C" mode and non existent in Manual mode.
Brought it to the dealer who ran a full diagnostic on it and it showed no issues.
I pressed the issue and the dealer first re-downloaded the tranny software and when that did not do much they agreed to spend more time on it, to the point where the tech went into the system and made some modifications which resulted in quicker shifts in all gears except 2/3 which did not really change much.
So, any thoughts? i.e. have any of the tuners played with a tranny program?
