Why no heated steering wheel in the E55??
Just checked out some posts by others in the W211 forum and noticed that the E320 and E500 cars are offered a heated steering wheel option. Why not the E55? The stock steering wheel is plasticky and not very nice in my opinion. How about the steering wheel I see listed that has a nice leather insert and wood trim? Damn, why do we get screwed when we have purchased the most expensive E series sedan that is offered? Thanks.

I think the S55 doesnt have that option either. Is it because their AMG?
another thing...Why arent all the designos available on the S55(and possibly on other AMG models)? When i was checking out the brochures, it said that the silver designo option was not available in the S55.

............maybe it has something to do with electronics for the F-1 style shifting in the V8K AMG cars. The G55 has heated steeroing while, although mine currently is not working.
