Got it!
I picked up my car the day after Christmas. They had it ready Christmas Eve, but I couldn't make it there that day and they were closed Christmas.
It had 13 miles on the odometer when I took it out for my first drive. The feeling of all that power was so great! I just wanted to floor it but I heeded the break-in notice.
Some comments. (quite a few)
The brakes were not a problem for me. I barely needed to adjust my braking style at all.
I wish the steering wheel was thicker. I am going to look into another steering wheel.
The navigation is greatly improved. I like it much more than the previous generation. I never used navigation in any other cars so I guess I can't really compare it to anything.
I wish the trunk felt more solid when closing and opening it. I liked the feeling of closing my trunk on my W210 more. It felt solid and heavy. On the W211 it feels light and not as sturdy. But just a comment and not a real complaint.
I really like my side window shades. They integrate really nicely.
I like the wood trim behind the gear shift. I'm thinking of changing the silver trim around the gear selector to the silver carbon fiber trim.
I'm so glad I got the two-tone. It makes it stand out more from a regular E.
More comments as I drive the car more. I can't wait until I reach the 1000 mile mark.
As soon as I got home, I switched my pedals to the SL pedals. Looks much better.
Upcoming changes to follow include parking bulbs and illuminated door sills.
One quick question, my Flexible Service says that my next service is the B service in 10000 miles. What happened to the A service?

For the steering wheel, have you seen the Evosport wheel? Real thick and nice!
Actually it's another name, but I call it the evosport wheel, I'll get you more information on it. I think Mach430 has it.
Congratulations also on your car! Pics!!

I was gettin worried about you, T-bone. But this car is always worth the wait. Congratulations and good luck. I had the same impressions as you, especially the trunk. I thought it was painted balsa wood or something. Hey, that's a nice looking wheel. Now, if only it comes with burled walnut.

Congrats on your new beauty and have fun.
I think your car and mine was on the same boat (arrived L.A. 12/19).
I wonder if the steering wheel that vraa posted still has the
paddle shifters on the back as it says that they use the original
carcass on the evosport.com site? It does look thicker than the stock one though.
Raining all day here too
