I checked the fuse in the trunk and it's fine, what else could it be?

Did you check for any breaks in the window wiring. If there is one, it's any easy fix.

Do you have rear window tint? I remember once in a W140 the owner had the tint installed from the inside and everything for the defroster checks out but still the defroster wont work.
