Need help customs piston design

I sent one piston(stock C32-M112K) to a well known company in USA to do for my car custom pistons, same as stock, same design same compression...
but that will hold higher boost(30psi) high hp and n2o, they send this mail:

.....
the second issue is with the spacing between the wrist pin towers.
this looks to be a top guided connecting rod and we don't have a forging that is narrow enough to copy the spacing needed.
there are 2 choices for this , either make them from a billet which adds an additional X$ per pistons and takes 5 weeks, or the customer will have to make spacers to put on either side of the connecting rod.

what to do?
if i went the spacers choice, does it hold ?

Talk to CP. They have piston stock that will do a piston guided rod. I used them on my engine. Different engine but same issue.

I hate the idea of spacers on a piston. Yeah, it would work but it's just one more thing that could possibly go wrong. I'd try a different manufacturer.
