2007 E63 W211 Stuck Fuel Injector and other sundry failures

Wow. I recently purchased a 2007 E63 with about 65K miles on it which was just coming off of a CPO warranty. I took it in to Penske for pre purchase inspection and had a speaker replaced. Otherwise all was good ( i think ).

Fast forward 3 months of driving around town and a couple road trips and I just had the check engine light come on, the car stop ... well ... driving.

Just found out that three fuel injectors got stuck open flooding the engine with fuel and the fuel senders are cracked and leaking fuel. Melt down.

On top of it all, the rear air shock failed a couple weeks ago.

Now I'm finding out that all three of these major issues are known issues by Mercedes and have been experienced by many if not all customers of the E class (suspension and fuel senders) and AMG (fuel injectors).

The heap is at Penske now, so I'm hoping for the best.

I never imagined having this sort of experience with a brand like Mercedes and AMG and am hoping for the best here.

You did get an extended warranty right? Basically a must have for these rides.

Dang. Don't feel too bad. I did the same thing with a used Z06. Waited too long and cost me a new $14k crate motor.

I have ball joints to replace as well as the sender. I bought mine 4 months ago with 87k miles.
