Falken semi slicks.

Anyone tried these? They are going for under $ 180.00 each for the rears (275/35/18) and are street legal. Will these allow me to put a bit more power to the wheels on take off or just a waste of time? I am not looking for longevity, just a bit more of a hook up over my Falken 265/35/18 street tyres.

these are definitely no where near what a drag radial is like. spend a bit more money for a stickier tire.

Not on a Benz, but I have ran a couple sets of these. They are much better for cornering grip that is road legal and safe when it rains some. Not a good straight line traction tire compared to others.

Honestly in my opinion if you are relatively modded there is not street tire that will really hook, other than a street legal radial that is.

I'm currently running these on my E55. For the price they aren't bad but they wont even come close to a drag radial in terms of traction. I previously had Michelin PSS and these grip a little better when they warm up but the PSS had much better wet traction. I will stick with PSS for daily use and pick up some drag radials for the strip.
