Video of sec. cats and resonators removed w/gutted mufflers
First off, I had the secondary cats and resonators removed a while back but barely heard the tone i was going for. Two weeks ago, I decided to take the mufflers off and gut them. I drove the car back from the shop with no mufflers. OH MY GOD...![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
THE BEAST sounded like it broke out of hell with serious rage. Almost scary at WOT. as fun as it was to rattle the entire town, I finally got the gutted mufflers on and I really like the tone. Its mild during idle and cruising but when you get on it, it just wakes it (and everyone around you) up. No I can enjoy the sound to go with a great performing car like this....check out the video....

there is very minimal drone. Some people claim its excessive but honestly, I didn't notice anything other than just what you'd expect from a custom exhaust tone. in my opinion, it was the best option for the $. If its sound you want, I'd suggest going this route.
