Mine came the same way, although not bent quite as badly. Bent them back by hand and it looks good as new!

Absolutely...taped it off and sprayed it with Bright Danger Red.

Turned out pretty good, especially mounted up under the bumper. The quality of the piece is fantastic.

Arrived three days after order double packed and in perfect condition.
Finally got around to installing it, perfect fitment, no trimming no issues (running e55 w211 bumper) .
Here is a pic, excuse my filthy car..
Taken with an iPhone.. So it's probably junk quality as well, oh well, I'm a busy man!
