I love the E55 but I was thinking to get something to a bit newer and different feel...Although the raw nature of the E55 is hard to beat.

Anybody do this switch? Thoughts on all aspects?

Or anybody with both cars that can chime in? I know there are a few members with both cars. ..

c63 is very different from e55, so if you want a different feel i say go for it.


C63 pros:


great handling.
Newer look and it looks GREAT.
BEAUTIFUL exhaust note ( i just freaking love it....love cold start..love down shift...i just love how it sounds).
it's faster than you think. its a beast with header + tune.
down shift rev match in S mode. sounds so sick and smooth.


Cons:


engine has head bolt problems before 2011. (i got a 2010 nothing happend yet)
Smaller compare to E.
minus CF trim the interior lacks quality, at least the PFL version which i have.
younger feel to it, its more sporty but less boss.
the P30 pkg has too harsh of a suspension, but it handles great and lowers the car.
Weak rear wheel offset.
no pano option on sedans.


have you test drive the car yet? it has a great engine.

g money, they are not. they are c63 oem 19" multispokes. its an option wheel from europ or Canada or anywhere else but not really in states I belive.

Spot on about the C63. Ive always liked them. Amazing sound, More youthful feel, less boss.
