yes Vs when taken care of and if you know what you are doing they will be very good, a few have been blowing up because the owners think they are invincible

So true. That goes for just about anything though. You can **** up any car/engine if you're not careful. Sometimes they **** up even if you are careful!
As far as owners thinking they are invincible, those are the clowns of the racing/hot rod world. Whatever car at the moment is the easiest to make fast with parts anybody can install, will attract those fools. They usually don't know ****, but are great at regurgitating things they read on the Internet.

Nice! But they claim "stock weight" with front skinnies? I guess it goes along the same lines as "it just has bolt ons" and is up for interpretation.

That's amazing. I'm thinking how hard would it be to drop an LSA into a W211?
I was looking to buy an M113k to build from the US and they're cheap but the shipping would **** me to Australia and so would the taxes. Here you can get a decent E55 engine for ~9-10k but it's still a 8-10 year old motor and has done 40,000-60,000 miles.
On the other hand you can get a BRAND NEW LSA supercharged crate motor making 570hp for $10,000 and I've even seen a few go for $9k. Again, BRAND NEW. There are so much more parts, they sound better and I think they're lighter.
The main concern, as always, is how to wire the thing up. I'd want to still use the cluster, the traction control and basically everything. I know NOTHING about this stuff but every time I see these crazy prices and crazy potential I go crazy! We can't get CTSVs here but I would buy one if we had any. All we have is Pontiac G8s with nicer taillights. I love the W211 and this would be a perfect motor.

Not poss without a stand alone which you would lose many functions of the car. Not worth to do on this car. It's a nice car I wouldn't want to butcher it up

Manny's car is fast and still has some left on the table. I like it when people are outdoing shops. If more 55 guys built their motors and sprayed it like the V guys I think there would be alot in the 9s. Manny was probably running a 150-200 shot

haha obviously not chopping up the E55. I bought a W211 cheap to do something with. It's just sitting in my driveway right now gathering dust....

As said, it would require a stand alone computer and a lot of work, but with that said people have put LSX engines in damn near everything.

Sweet! Also nice to see with and without nos, basically shows the 150 shot gained him a whole second in the 1/4... That's impressive

I have had several tell me thier car was stock with "bolt ons" and yeah, they bolted on a blower...
But anyway, great run, it was hauling the mail!

My interpretation of full weight is a car that still maintains it's stock configuration without removing seats, A/C , gutting the interior etc. Putting different wheels, rotors and tires is acceptable to me and I would still consider it "full weight".

Yeah, that's not bolt ons. That would be like someone saying their car is completely stock and they have a 200 shot on it. lol Intake and exhaust are bolt on's not power adders like NOS's and blowers.

Getting it to run isn't the issue, it's getting the cluster and traction control to work that's the issue. Like I said though, I just saw one for sale yesterday, brand new with ZERO miles on it for $9000.
