help with alternator install....which way does power lead go back on?
So long story... had my alternator taken out 3 weeks ago and now was finally going to put it back it but want to make sure how the power lead was attached? I took the cover off to replace the voltage regulator and now have it like this. outer cover, then black spacer, power lead, then small nut at the end....is this correct if anyone knows out there? it doesn't seem right I think something goes inside the cover ..no? been too long since I took it off damn!
