LEAD TIME: JL Motoring
Hey all...
Just curious, how long does it usually take this vendor to ship out items? I ordered a CF wing a few days back, and haven't seen more than an order confirmation. Not impatient at this point, but I've read some horror stories, so I thought I'd do some homework.
Thanks in advance!

Received my part. Quality is okay...
The shape of the spoiler doesn't quite lie flat on the trunk lid, and there are a couple spots where the resin is chipped/pulling away from the fiber.
I'm thinking I can heat the part to reform it somewhat..? And I'll just throw some strong epoxy in the two small problem areas.
Anyone else have quality issues similar to this?

I had the same one on my car, and after a year I just wasn't feeling it. I bought an oem one, painted it and put it on.
The JL is ok -
OEM - You Can't beat.

LOL - (bad spots) I had a rear lower valance also and as fast as I had it I got rid of it. Way to much adjusting, and screwing, and it would have needed glue. I said this is not for me.
Now I have a CF front spoiler, that does fit very nice, but I'm on the fence do I paint it?

Rob, they are pretty good about swapping out pieces if you arent happy. Most of this stuff that the vendors sell come from the same chinese factories. I cant remember who it was from now but I ordered a 3 fin diffuser from someone and had some imperfections on it. They offered to replace it

Thanks! It's a copied mold of the OE spoiler, ABS plastic, if I had to guess. The carbon cloth is laid over, then gel-coated.
There weren't any mounting materials included with mine, so I laid sections of 3M tape across the length of the top underside of the spoiler. I'm sure a glue could be used, but I didn't want to risk damaging the paint if it decides to come off.
Took it through a spirited highway run, and it stayed on. So overall, I'm pleased with the result.
