Gearbox Oil spraying out of dip stick tube
I was driving at the track...........
gearbox oil came out of the dip stick tube in between the cap. Oil covered the underneath of the car and exhaust, the smoke was very bad at the time. Had been driving between 50-150mph for 20mins. U think I boiled the oil or had to much to start with.
I measured it and its ok, did not top up. Did a gearbox oil and filter change about 6 months before this happened........ but this was the first time I had been constantly accelerating and braking for long periods of time.
Why did it come out through the dipstick and not the breather.
Anyone else had this?
