Installed Evosport shorties yesterday!
I chose to install them from the top. This was an easy, and smooth install! Minus the jacked up threads in the collector! I did not have my tap and dye tools with me to fix the threads, but got it fixed by running several bolts though the threads.
If you are not wanting to remove the exhaust system you can do it easily. The factory manifolds can be removed easily from the top. Installing the headers required removing the lower motor mount bolt(on one side), and loosening the bolt for the opposite side. Jacking the engine up, and then you can install the header. This option was much faster than removing the entire exhaust. Just an FYI..

It deepened up the idle a little bit. The volume is a tad bit louder, but not significant. The big change that I have noticed is the sound on deceleration. There is a little bit of a burble now. The supercharger whine is a bit louder as well.
I plan on a new mid section to get rid of the restrictive cats, and go with high flow cats. Possibly stepping up to 3" to increase the flow a bit more. I do not want it to be too loud, but I do want it to perform well.
