It gets better - by mid-year a 4-wheel drive version using 4-Matic components will be available as an option on the Magnum and on the 300C. This version will ride 1-inch higher according to the latest Car and Driver.
I had been considering an E500 wagon to replace the wife's 2001 E320 wagon. However while the new wagon looks better it has only 24.5 cu ft of cargo capacity with the second seat up, down from 44 cu ft in the 210 wagon. While the Magnum Hemi only has 27.5 cu ft of cargo capacity it is $25000 less than the 211 E500 wagon with more HP and 210 E-class underpinnings.

That Magnum Wagon will have more rubber neck appeal and more interest than any E-Class wagon ever had. The E500 wagon with 302HP is twice the price of the Magnum with 340HP. Tuning and aftermarket stuff for these new LX chassis cars will be big.

i like the shape ok. i aint sayin its gotta be pretty. i mainly just think the front end design looks too goofy. a little unfinished or something. at least based on those shots. and it needs larger wheels too.

I like the 300C Hemi also, but 'I' don't need another sedan. I want something with some utility and hauling features to replace my anemic, slow, lumbering, rollover Explorer Sport Trac.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
here is the intro video for the 300C:

What a car, pray DC does not change anything in its present appearence. The oriental slick look of new Benzes on CLK and E is not much to look at.

Only way to get pictures is to link the image from the site, copy the shortcut (or site adress of the picture) and paste it on the "IMG" option when replying.
Syntax with out the spaces after IMG:

interior looks OK, a little on the plain side, but that's typical for american cars as well ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
My Impala SS was the most plain car I've ever had, even a 91 Camaro was a better eye catcher when it came to interior dash area.

I was expecting 265 or 275.
I read somewhere that it has the same transmission as the E55, same as the Charger.

Indeed, plain it may be but on the car costing probably $20k less than e320.
