Electronic issue??? I'm stumped, and away from home with another issue
So the car is at the Merc dealer here in Cary, NC while I'm up here for work. I'll preface the issue with this:
I bought a new battery this weekend, and the VR is about 3 months old. I havent gotten any codes, but didn't want to get stranded on the way home.
I've noticed a pulsing of my electronics in the past 2 weeks, and now it is slightly affecting idle, like I have some big cams or something. Driving down the highway my gauges and lights have a fast pulse to them but when I get to a stop light it slows greatly and rpms rumble between 450-600 with a slight stumble. My voltage reads between 13.8-14.8 when it does this and 14.1-14.3 on the highway. I was thinking maybe a new VR is needed, but the dealer just called and said they tested that first and it was good.
I'm kind of at a loss right now and waiting to hear back from the dealer is really not making me feel very good... Any ideas?

I had this issue with my vehicle. It was the VR. After installing the new VR, the issue was resolved for a few months. The issue came back, and after a short while, the actual alternator was dead and would not produce any output. I purchased and installed a new alternator, she's been running strong since.
