2012 CLS63 AMG Performace - Obsidian Black
Help Identify Odd Device!


So I bought this machine a few months ago, and have gone through her with a good fine tooth comb. New engine mounts, XSMN mount, 010 pump, XSMN and coolant flushes, injector cleaning, new belts, airmatic filter and hoses, etc. She's running like a top, and does 4.2 0-60 all day on the GTECH Pro. But, for the life of me, I still can't figure out what the hell the PO installed in the ashtray. Rotary knob, red-green lights, push buttons. I have already eliminated alternate reality-switcher, machine guns, oil slick pump, bullet shield and year-into-the-future selector, so we won't need those suggestions ... Any ideas?

Did your car have a sound system? I'm not audio expert. But, it kind of looks like one those knobs you can turn to adjust the sound of the bass.

You can remove the ashtray it just pops out. That looks like an E63 ashtray, I have the same.

Well, just in case you should trace the wiring to make sure it is or isn't connected to this
