'07 E63 with CEL - P0106 error code
Got the CEL on today. After checking with my ODB cable it appears the error is P0106. From what I gathered on the net, this does not seem to be a big thing, probably a line disconnected somewhere.
Is that right or do you have other ideas ?

you can always attempt diagnosis using brake cleaner while the car is running. spray anywhere you'd think there to be a leak or missing vacume hose. if the engine idle stutters or changes you've found your leak.

This CEL is a really funny one. One day it is there, the next day it's gone without even erasing the error code.
I tried the test with the break cleaner spray ... no reaction at all.
I will change the MAP sensor just in case, but the light currently gone I won't know if that was the problem

Light was back and then gone again. Did not come back for the last 500 miles.
I bought the sensor and looked for installing it but still a bit unsure about a few points where I need some help :
1 - What is the black item spotted with the red arrow ? It is filled with a liquid.

2 - To change the sensor I need to remove the metallic part in front of it. I think I know what it is but can't find what it is called in english.

3 - And for that I need to get the tube away. Is that exhaust gaz that go through it or am I mistaken with something else ?

Thanks a lot !

that reservoir is your power steering fluid.
don't waste more time on trying to replace random parts to fix an issue like this. first thing is to check the front aluminum bolts that hold down the intake manifold to the cylinder heads. almost guarantee that one of them is loose. if i was just randomly replacing without diagnosing i would remove the intake manifold and replace the gaskets and bolts and also replace the plastic diaphragm/tube thing at the back of the engine.

Last year the code disappeared ... never came back since then except today. Temperature dropped and reached freezing point (0°c), CEL is back !
