E55 Coolant flow restricted?
I have been doing few fixes on my 06 E55 and one of the things i did was replace a shot OEM intercooler pump with the 010 Bosch pump, when I went to bleed the air out there was not enough flow/pressure to even make the coolant flow into the clear hose I attached to the nipple.
I did however notice when I pinch the rubber hose going to the aluminum line that the nipple is on the flow quick begins flowing, when I stop pinching the flow becomes non-existent again. Is this normal or do I have a flow restriction?
(Please excuse the diesel sounding engine, the idler pulley needs replacement. Put a new bearing into it but it seems like the sleeve is maybe worn, the bearing just slips into the pulley and isnt sung at all
)

E55 is not self bleeding. Only S/SL/CL was self bleeding.
Yes you need to clamp the return line coming from intercooler (like below the bleed port, I believe). Then it'll pour out the bleed port.
