new e55 owner problems
hi all. just got an 04 e55. drivers seat wont move back or lower down. i just got a used contorl unit and will attempt to replace it by removing the seat. The problem is that the seat is moved way to forward for me to access the bolts in the front. Is there a manual way to move the seats? I also have dynamic seats. I dont even know what it does. I see the buttons on the bottom. does it have a massage mode? Sorry if this sounds dumb but im kinda frustrated that i cant remove the freakin seat. Even if i do get the front bolts out, im afraid that if the new unit doesnt work i cant put the bolts back since its so hard to get to. Thats my main problem.
Second problem is that keyless go doesnt work for drivers door unlock. It does lock though. Any help is much appreciated.
Still love the car. Its beautiful. the old owner took really good care of it and it has 83k.

Do a search for keyless go door handle. Most likely that's your problem as they do go often. They range anywhere from $150-$200 online depending on the color but are up to $300 at the dealer. There's also a DIY on replacing the handle yourself, only a coupe of screws hold it in.

Have you checked to make sure the fuse is in for the seats? I just had to remove the fuse to mine because it was draining my battery. Just a thought. And dynamic seats are seat bolsters that inflate up in a turn, turning left makes the right bolster come up, etc.
