Rear Arnott install question
I've seen the DIY here on the forums for this and the question I have is related to getting the rear springs to deflate as much as possible prior to performing the replacement. I do not have DAS and one of my shocks leaks so I can wait a few hours for the air to leak out before replacing it, but the other side holds pressure, so I was curious what tricks you guys employed short of shanking it with a knife to release the pressure. I read someone drove over wooden block in the rear as a way to compress the rear further and others have said they have jacked up the car and then opened up the door to trick airmatic into lowering the pressure. I assume the whole car needs to be on jack stands for the latter? Appreciate your insights in advance!

Yep cut that bad boy and it's easy to do. Well the first side was a pain but the other side done in like 40min or less

Thanks guys. When the new units are installed, what's the trick to get them to inflate before setting the wheels back on the ground?
