I too just yesterday received a quote from that person. I wonder if we can compare/bargain between the 2 sellers. The most recent seller that responded accepts the purchase of 1 set but for 835 and shipping by boat to usa for 358. Group buy would make it way cheaper especially if its just headers.
edit: 30 sets for 793 each and shipping would be the same. Lots of savings to be had with a group buy.

I gat mine from Top speed pro 1. Other mods already listed in the previous page. There's definitely improvement in the acceleration. My trac light was flashing at 65 mph, and by the time I glanced ahead and looked back at the speedometer, I was already going 120 mph. Can't wait for the track to open. Sorry, no pics. Will be heading back there tomorrow to pick up the dyno sheet print out.
Previous mods: small s/c pullley, FTP HE, EC tune. Will have to re tune the car, and probably pick up couple more hp.

If you go to the Alibaba website you will find copious amounts of E55 exhaust systems and countless manufacturers willing to barter with you
For example for the EXACT headers and mid pipes the OP bought for $1700+ I received a quote without starting to barter for $835US and $358US shipping total of $1193US to your door
* this is just one of the many manufacturers that are available, they can even brand them for you as well if needed, for example "Top Speed"
Attached is the photo they sent me of what they will ship
I think 2000UZJ isn't supplying prices because he is trying to arrange the best group buy and is still trying to barter with suppliers
But if you just want a set (now) without having to go through multiple avenues of shipping around the world to save maybe $50 or so just go there and get some quotes yourself, I have found a few sellers who have no minimum purchase order and will happily ship 1 set only

I am paying twice that for DynoComp headers....and I don't really mind. I won't have to worry about build quality. I'll cut corners somewhere else. Just my humble opinion, I have been waiting for headers for what seems like forever, finally closing the deal in a week or so. Getting a new ECU as well. Goodbye tires!

Since i assume the possibility that the chinese people have really one of those cars available, is close to 0, these are just copies of a larger brand name header system right?
IIRC there was also a Supersprint header system for the CL500/55AMG available, maybe they have something similar for the CL too?

Is that CZP Exhaust a Supersprint knockoff too? Man, can you get a full header back "Supersprint like" exhaust for around $1500 on Alibaba? I have never used that site before but I know its huge.

Guys be careful with alibaba, I do business with some on there but I have known them for years and they came recommended by others I know but going out on a venture like that just by a search and a few emails be prepared to either get sent something totally different or get scammed altogether. Even though alibaba and other similar sites claim they are regulated they really are not.

I guess as long as you can pay via PayPal you will always be covered through them and can lodge a claim for the goods received not being the same as ordered to get your money back
