E55 heated seats work well?
is it true the e55 heated seats have a barely noticeable difference or is that the ventilated seats that people speak of?
are the heated seats actually suppose to blow hot air from the holes or is it more of a subtle heat? and is it suppose to heat the whole seat on the E55 or just the back back rest??

It's the ventilated seats that people say are barely noticeable. They aren't as good as cooled seats but I think they work ok at circulating air. Some people have upgraded the fans.
The heated seats don't blow hot air. The heat is radiated from the heating elements in the seat bottom and back. They work well.

Heated seats function fine. When all 3 lights are on, it ramps up pretty quick then it's timed down until off if you leave it on 3. I'm mostly at 1 click. It's the cooling aspect of the fan spinning under you that isn't so much of a notice.
If wearing thicker clothing it can have an effect slightly on what you feel quickly out of the gate

^^I believe that will be the definition of heated seats that work well.
They get too hot for me, I never go past the one light

As others stated... heated seats work fine... just as good as any other vehicle I've owned with the feature (Jeep, Range Rover, Porsche 997)
The ventilated seats only work well on really hot days, and I do find they keep my back dry instead of sweating through my shirt.I do wish the car had actively cooled seats. We got a loaner lexus IS once when my wifes suv was in for service and it was a cool feature (pun intended)
I put them on high 3 lights when cold out and it will automatically step down to 2 lights after about 10 minutes... this drives my wife nuts as she loves the seats on full blast so she resets it all the time lol
