Thanks for all the comments. The Lorinser grille is not for everyone, but it definitely gives the car a more aggressive look and attracts more stares. I ordered OZ rims but cancelled the order the day they were to ship just in time after I stumbled on these. I plan on putting on Goodyear F1's or Bridgestone So3's in 245,275 sizes sometime in the near future. For all interested, the spoiler is Renntech, not Lorinser. I untinted the taillights as it was hard to tell when I was in reverse or turning. The rims are 35mm offset front and rear, 8.5 in front, 9.5 in rear. No rubbing encountered.

Regarding the detailing, believe it or not, I take it to a local hand wash place because I'm too lazy to do it myself. Just can't find the time when I have enough energy. Sorry, Al.

A question - how many diffusers are mounter in your grill ? I though the BEL had 2 fron and 1 rear ?
There are two modules located just under the front bumper behind the screen and one behind just below the rear bumper. So far, Chill 1, cops 0.

Dr. Chill,

By any chance, did you get to weigh the HRE's before mounting them? If you didn't, could you check them with the tires and compare them to the stock rims and tires. I'm also interested in these and the OZ's, but would like to know if there is any weight advantage over the stock rims and tires. If you can find the time to weigh them, I'd really appreciate it! I'm sure others would also be interested in the weight difference.

Oh, BTW, they look great!

Lorinser...

I love your 841s!!! Very nice! Where did you get them and who's got the best pricing on u'm. What finish is that? Polished? I've got 540R (brushed center) on my Porsche 996TT...so I was thinking something similar to match.

Best pricing if you are talking about overseas you might want to go with wheelexperts. Peter I heard is VERY helpful. I got mine at a local shop around here. The wheels are *gasp* chromed. I tried the silver look but it just wasnt cutting it. People thought I had cheapo rims....but when I chromed them I got my 6K worth =p

Chill...I love the grille! I also love the high res. photos you posted ... as a matter of fact, the front quarter shot's now my desktop!

My car will be very similar to yours when it arrives. I've got the grille, spoiler and my Valentine One waiting at the dealership for them to install before I pick up the car.

I'm glad you live in Fla, I'd hate to be just another E55 on the street in Ohio.

Love the new HRE's too BTW, but I'll probably stay stock.

Car is lowered slightly. The BEL laser jammer does not do radar. I have a BEL windshield mount radar detector but all local cops around here use laser exclusively, and the trap I defeated was a laser trap. Sorry but I did not weigh the rims before mounting them but they felt about the same as the stock rims. I had the OZ Superleggeras on order which weigh about 8-9 lbs less than the stock rims each.

Regarding finish, the brushed aluminum with clear coat is more elegant than the polished or painted finishes.
