So I take my car out today for the first time after putting it away for 5 months and ESP malfunction light came on. I can't turn esp on, it's always off but the triangle is not lit on. I thought it was just some little gremlin but after turning the car on and off a few times and putting 30 miles on it, the malfunction was still there, any thoughts?

Have you done the reinitialiszation procedure? Turning the steering wheel from one sides end to the other sides?
If the issue remains, get codes.

Mine does this every year. A couple decent drives to blow the cobwebs out and then all is good. Don't know what causes it though.
