Can't remove front wheels?

Hey guys, I'm trying to clean the brakes and the wheel wells and for the life of me I can't get the front wheels off. Is there something else I have to remove besides the 5 lug nuts? The rears came off no problem. Thanks.

give the tires a good kick or hit with a BFH from the back side. Sure it will budge and come off.

and when you do get the tire off, grab your self a wire brush and clean that area up corrosion or rust so next time you don't have to break your foot trying to kick it loose

A rubber mallet comes in hand sometimes too banging from the inside if kicking it is not enough. As mentioned above use a wire brush but before you put the wheels back on apply some copper paste - been doing that 12 years since my last stuck wheel on a BMW and have never had an issue since.

Assure that the vehicle is well supported when kicking. Screw two lug bolts in several threads to keep wheel from possibly being damaged when it pops off.

Most likely have rust around the hub that is grabbing.

Not only the wheel, but other items like the disc shield and brake lines.

The close up photos don’t do them justice. From a distance they are distinct.
