HELP with FRONT SPACERS

just picked up a set of 20" Monoblock vi reps
i knew when i bought that I will need spacers for the front.
they are 20x8.5 et40 and 20x9.5 et40

I figured it would be simple to just get spacers for the fronts but reading through a few old threads on spacers in the front has done nothing but confuse me.

From what I've read, apparently running hub centric spacers in front won't work as they won't clear & you must to use flat spacers and i'll need longer bolts & longer lugs w/ a longer shank??
Also read I shouldn't run more than a 5mm spacer in front while i've read threads with people running 10, 15 and 20mm in the front and claim to have no issues, so not sure which is true.

I think I will need a 20mm spacer in the front for these to fit and sit right.

Would greatly appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction as to exactly which spacers I will need to make these front wheels fit & which bolts/lugs I need
If you have a link of the exact correct spacers for a e55, please post

Since our hub on the front is different. You can pull off "NON-HUBCENTRIC wheel spacers up to 12MM, just only make sure that you have the longer bolts.

To find out the correct length for your longer bolts. Just easily take off one of your current bolts and measure its shank length. For instance, if you are putting 12mm wheel spacers on the front. Add 12mm to your current bolt shank length and whatever it adds up that would be the corrected and safest bolt shank length with your 12mm front wheel spacers.

The bolts in that link are tapered, OEM is half round. Make sure your wheels and bolts have the same shape.
