I'm getting ready to do the E63 Conversion on my wagon and I really want a gloss black, color matched grill. My body shop, who is very competent, says even after etching and primer, the paint won't hold up very well. He said I should find a black plastic one if I can. Does this exist? Thanks for the input!

 

You can search and read for hrs. They come flat or you can plastic dip them. Have your shop gloss it. They are hard to come by

 

I've searched and read for hours. So many dead end links. If someone can point me in the direction of the flat grill. I'll buy it!

Really? I'm not a noob to the car world or modding, I've gone down nearly every avenue I know of. I feel like I've been to the end of Ebay and back and I've found the ugly huge emblem grill in black, a carbon fiber and even a flat black non facelifted grill...But no facelifted flat black grill.

If someone can point me in the direction of said elusive grill. I'd greatly appreciate it.
