How much are the cars getting for parting out

I am wondering how much I could get to part out my car. It runs great, but little things have caused me to get frustrated and unable to fix an extra 300-400 of repairs each month consistently. So I am wondering if I were to part it out, what are the big ticket items that would maybe help pay off the loan. I have it on Cars.com for 17000.00 and KSL for 16000.00 OBO and no takers.
04 E55 AMG 101250 miles.

All the parting out ones only show PM's and not pricing that was actually paid.

Just a few guesses:

Engine without heads - $2500-$3k
Supercharger - $500
Heads - $500
Transmission - $600
Diff. pumpkin - $200
Wheels - $500
Interior (colored inserts?) - $ Unknown
Spare wheel - $100
Calipers - $400
Bumpers - $300 each
Mufflers - $400
Hood - $200
Nav DVD drive - Free to me

Lots of strange requests come up during part-out threads. Sun visors, wood trim, console cover, etc. It would be a lot of work, but you might be able to break even.

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately my NavDVD is broken just like everyone else. I put a disk in and it looks like it will read and then about 30 seconds later it says "No Disk"

Now I have to figure out if I will part it out or not

I pulled my DVD drive out and disassembled it. I was expecting to see lots of dust in there, but it was surprisingly clean. I put it back in, but it still does the same thing. For a good laugh, call your dealer and ask for the price on a replacement drive. Mine quoted me at $2k. HAHAHAHAAAA NO!

you will break even after 6 to 8 months when you part a car out. Once engine and transmission are sold then mostly all the left over parts are low dollar items. Factor in paypal fees, shipping, insurance, returns and be ready to get a 1099K from paypal if you cross the 200 translation or 20000 USD threshold amount.

Are you serious? You can get a transmission in the US for an E55 AMG for $600?!! WHAT.THE.F*CK!!!! I have HAD IT with you lucky motherf*ckers. Do you realize a gearbox for an E55 that's done 100k miles is $2000-3000 here?!!! A supercharger is $3000-4000. Brake calipers are $2000. Engine long block is $6-7k!!! God you people are lucky, you don't even know, you don't even know that you live in paradise.

By the way don't buy that bull**** about wages here being higher and since our dollars is .74 USD our money isn't worth much anyway :'(
