Weak radiator fan?

My fan is running weak for some reason. I've been having to run the a/c on high so that the fan will spin fast enough to draw in enough air or otherwise I fear some overheating issues. If I turn the a/c off the fan spins weak enough for me to stop it with my fingers and will not spin unless I push it again. But with the a/c on high it's enough to not overheat.

Does anyone have some idea of what the problem might be?

My passenger seat module has been draining my battery so I've been disconnecting the battery at night while waiting for a new module to arrive. Could the fan problem simply be the a/c menu settings resetting Everytime I disconnect the battery? Just thought about that guess I will check tomorrow.

Is your car overheating? Are you talking about the radiator fan? It's enclosed in plastic shroud. How are you spinning it? You sure you don't mean the AC condenser fan?

If I don't run the a/c on high it will overheat. I'm talking about the large fan between the radiator and the supercharger. A while back I cut about an inch out of the top of the plastic shroud so that I could access the supercharger bolt to replace the supercharger bearing, so that's how im able to put my finger in there and stop the fan (when it's running slow/weak with the a/c off. It runs too fast with the a/c on high for me to do it).

I'll try to get some pictures and video up tomorrow.

Dear Jakez. Were you able to fix that problem. In case you did, what was the problem and how did you solve it?

I had to replace the fan motor when mine did that.

I replaced the fan, temp sensor, water pump, thermostat... the problem still there. I even removed the thermostat at some point. No change on the coolant level. I also made sure there is no air on the system. fan workes fine when I start the car after, it accelerates when I turn on the Ac. temperature goes all the way up to 85c to 90c. Fan accelerates even more to cool the engine . The engine temperature can stay around 90 for 30mn sometimes to 2 hours at idle and all of the sudden the the fan stops working and the temperature climb all the way up to 120C. No code at all. I also noticed that there is hissing noise when I turn on the AC which probably means low freon...
