M113 is an awesome platform to modify. A few of the blokes that responded to you on this thread are some of the kings of the M113. Take their advice seriously!

You guys are silly!!!
I'll build a twin turbo using stock internals and stock Trans and make 700whp for half of what you're spending. I have the tune for it!!!
Jerry is the only other person I will work with. So take that how you want.

Well I didn't realize there were so many willing to help on here. Looking for more hp than my last few cars and try to dip my quarter mile times into the 10's eventually. I definitely want to be mid 11s this year. It's just a weekend cruiser so dependability is not a concern.
850 crank hp does not translate to 800whp

You need deep pockets for these high hp goals. I just dumped another 21k on my fully built stroked 6.5L long block only. I'll be making a thread very soon. I'm also shooting for 800-850whp. And btw I already had a built motor with just weistec pistons but I dumped them out of the motor.

The assumptions and misinformation in this thread are entertaining

I have been watching this thread and will give my .02 cents....
You can get these cars into the 10s fairly easy with the right combo. Once in the 10s, you can get them to et deep 10s with a simple combo.
I have run a ton of combos, and once you cross that line of been heavily modded, you will run into headache after headache. This platform can be pushed, but the car is over engineered from AMG, so be cautious in your approach.
These are the mods I would go with if I were you:
185mm crank pulley
Pin kit for the crank pulley
82mm TB
Dyno comp headers
Tune
550cc injectors
Quaiffe lad
Hoosier drag 255 50 16
On a well prepped track and good air, that setup will march into the 10.60 range on stock trans and motor.
If you want more, throw on a looped fuel rail and 100 wet shot for 10.50 or better. As far as the trans goes, building it with tighter clearances and more clutch packs is all you need. That upgrade is equivalent of the cl65; sl65 or s65 AMG tranny. They parts can be had for roughly $700.
Pm me if you want anymore info brotha, I am also a vendor on here with our own in house dyno!

My motor is currently at the machine shop like I said I will be making a thread soon on my build. And when I say I'm building my motor to be fully built I'm not just talking about Pistons like everyone says. I will be getting the block Darton sleeved/ polished crank/custom forged rods/ Pistons/ fully built valvettrain with stage 4 port and polished heads/ custom cut cams/ weistec supercharger ported and polished to match heads. Trust me when I tell you I will set the bar on the m113k motor.

If you do make it displace 6.5L, it will be substantially weaker and shorter lived than a similar engine displacing 5.5-5.8L, keep that in mind. If you're still in the planning stages, you should keep the stock crank, don't sweat the stroker. If you already bought/ordered a crank make sure whoever is designing your pistons knows how much of the skirt will be dropping out the bottom of the sleeve each revolution. This will affect their barrel profile.
At this point its possible I've built more of these forged 113s than anybody else, so if you or your machinist have any questions hit me up and I'll be glad to help.
Brooke (exoticmetal55) has been in this game way longer than me even and is very knowledgable, hit him up as well. Between the two of us there's probably at least one expensive mistake we can save you from making.
Good luck!

Thanks bud. Yeah machine shop says it will be close to a 6.5L not exactly sure yet on how much the stroke will be. Like I said this week I get better details on what's going on at the shop and machine shop with my build. I just gave the green light to my shop to do whatever they wanted to bust records on my car. And I'm sure they won't disappoint. This build sure will be one of kind not like the average just piston motors I see. I had weistec Pistons in my car and I had nothing but issues cause of who ever built it and I don't want to give shop info cause I'm over it already just ready to build it right way this time around.
