Are you talking about the motor that moves the flaps to direct air to the feet/face/windshield? If so, I hope someone has a good answer because mine is shot, too. It was stuck blowing out most of the air on my feet, so I crammed a rag in the duct under the dash and now the air comes out the upper vents.

Don't think it's the same thing, this shuts off hot air and vice versa. I'm pretty much getting amb air through the vents maybe a little colder but nothing too crazy, ac is working because my killer chiller is ice cold and so is the water, and refrigerant is ok also. I was told probably that motor is broken and stayed on the hot position
